San Diego has been home to many talented musicians, songwriters and performers. Over the past 10 years, the most mature and most frequented venue for acoustic music has been Twiggs Green Room. The Green Room began hosting performances in the mid 1990's, providing stellar sound, music 5 nights a week and San Diego's oldest running open mic. On February 28, 2007 The Green Room was closed due to lease limitations. The community was stunned and the music was hushed.

The good news came only 3 days later when Mueller College (located across the street from the old Twiggs Green Room) offered the music a new home. This new space was larger and more centrally located. The community rallied to move the gear, hang the curtains and spread the word. By the following Saturday, the amps were on and the mics where hot. Music at Mueller College was born.

Many talented artists, local and touring, were part of the history of The Twiggs Green Room. Now, those same artists are building a new history at Mueller College.
